who we are

Post Oak Design are Paul & Lisa, two people who share a passion for woodworking and who strive to produce timeless pieces that are practical and functional, as well as aesthetically unique.

Paul brings many years of woodworking experience, an engineers mind and advanced IT skills to the partnership, whilst Lisa’s background is as 3D designer, with over 30 years experience in furniture, interior and metalwork design.

Our pieces are built to last from good quality timbers and finishes. Every element is made by us in our workshop, right down to the aluminium etched logo plates found on many of our pieces.

Our Ethos

We build using traditional methods of construction and embrace the craft of woodworking. Our pieces are made as one offs or very limited production runs rather than being mass produced.

Combining these long established skills with our home built CNC cutter allows us infinite possibilities to explore new concepts and apply them to our designs.

New timbers are purchased from sustainable sources and we find a use for almost every inch of timber. We also believe in using salvaged and recycled materials where possible, with offcuts saved to be incorporated into smaller projects.
